module that allows real-time updates through wireless scanners. Scanning
provides even more accuracy over paper-based implementations due to the
confirmation of the activity at the time it is happening as well as the reduction
of keying errors. With wRIGHT-rf your activities will be updated immediately,
resulting in the most up to date WMS possible. With Radio Frequency
the system can respond immediately to exceptions and provide the user
direction based on the WMS configuration. For example, when directed to a
location found to be in error, a picker will alert the RF unit of the issue, and
the RF unit will direct to another location for the product. At the same time
the application will place the error location on Cycle Count Hold and create a
task for the cycle counter to review the location marked in error. Additionally,
an immediate alert is created to notify supervisors. wRIGHT-rf brings a whole
